The Meadow Bloomers are knit in the round from the top down, starting at the waist band. Short rows are worked to create more room in the back of the bloomers.
The front and back of the bloomer are separated at the leg holes and then worked back and forth with decreases. The bloomers are then seamed up and then stitches are picked up around the leg holes. An i-cord tie is then knit, and the bloomers are hemmed for the waistband and the leg holes.
